The Sports Club/LA – New York on the Upper East Side, the world’s premier name in sports and fitness, seeks candidates for Fitness Administrative Assistant.
OVERVIEW: The Fitness Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Fitness Manager with the day-to-day administrative duties of the Club`s Fitness Department. The main duties of the Assistant are data entry and payroll processing for a staff of 50, so attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and superior follow-through are required. This is a part-time, entry-level position, and may be ideal for someone who is looking to grow in the field.
Job Duties:
• Process Private Training, Nutrition & Pilates paperwork - including logging receipts, closing expired sessions, verification of appointment sheets and other payroll-related paperwork.
• Collect all session sheets and process Fitness staff payroll.
• Update all communication avenues, including Communication Notebook and posting current ranks.
• Run and distribute appropriate Fitness reports to Corporate level, Club level, and management staff.
• Provide typing, filing, and other clerical services for the Fitness Departments.
Qualifications:
• High school graduate equivalent (some college preferred)
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Computer savvy (Word Suite of products) required
• Detail oriented, extremely organized.
